Solution

“The idea of “Solution” series was very personal at first. I’d been shooting 35mm film for a long time, all my works had a kind of “mysterious” shade but after almost 6 years woking in one style, I really wanted to explore more and I couldn’t feel any satisfaction from the process of creating images, it seemed to be more like a habit. The question was in borders that I’d built over my creative process and it didn’t give me a possibility to notice something new, to have a wider sight. So “Solution” became my attempt to step out of my comfort zone to feel myself more free as an artist in a question of choosing things to capture – I just wanted to notice beauty and harmony in the most common things, which are basically around me, my ordinary life. Also the idea of acceptance is really important here. I had a feeling that I always needed some special atmosphere, place or area to shoot. The result was in my inability to notice picturesque plots in any other situations. Everything had changed with a “Solution” – for now I’m free to capture even walking with my dog – I never know where I can meet my plot so I try to carry my camera everywhere I go.”

“Besides the personal ideas, I started to pay attention how some humanity elements weave into nature and I was absolutely charmed by some combinations. Light, physics laws, grass, water – all this in an interrelation of people’s creations. It’s about humanity and Nature symbiosis. I love to observe how nature elements get through human objects, buildings and vice versa. It’s about colors, forms and harmony in united symbiosis of people’s and nature’s art as a new sort of Universe architecture. It seems for me to be some kind of spirit of our time – when you can’t separate nature from humanity. This series helps me to accept the world around as it is”.
