Emanuela Barilozzi Caruso is a visual artist who was born in Rome where she currently lives and works. Graduated in 2018 with honor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera with prof. Laura Cherubini after studying painting with Alberto Garutti.
Through photography, drawing, installation and performance, Emanuela exhibited during important events and participated in many residences: Indian Pavilion at the Prague Biennale, 2011; Venice Biennale, 2013; Macro, Rome 2014; Salon, Milan 2015; Beyond the Boundaries, New Delhi, 2016; BoCS Art, Cosenza 2017; Dolomiti Contemporanee, 2018; Opera Viva special project, Turin 2019; FlashBack art fair, Turin 2019. Her photos have been exhibited by Galleria Continua 2015; L’Officiel Italia; Vogue and Repubblica.
As a professional actress from 2001 to 2011 she was formed between Italy and the United States, studying with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Pina Bausch, Judith Malina participating in many short films and movie, working with great italian masters such as Marco Bellocchio and winning several awards like the best actress.
