Focusing on figures of contemplation in foreign landscapes / urbanscapes, the beauty of stillness in usually chaotic spaces. Photographs tend to flow when on the road and in novel settings, oscillating between analogue (for day) and digital (for night), I’m drawn to all things cinematic, colourful and subjects deep with emotion. Coming for a background in film studies, my main source of go-to would be cinematographers / screenshots of my favourite stills from my favourite films – I look up to figures such as Roger Deakins, Park Chan-Wook, Robby Muller, Ingmar Bergman, Sofia Coppola, Stanley Kubrick, Coen Brothers, Giuseppe Tornatore.
